The name of this blog derives from the combination of the two aspects central to my life:
1 - 'Oui' represents the momentum of this entire life change, and my attempt at getting out of my own way and enjoying the ride for whatever it may be, with mindfulness; and
2 - '5' represents the current headcount of our little nuclear family (Anno, S, Bibi, and the waiting-stage-left yet-to-be-among-us Shooshoo) who are on this move from Brooklyn to Nairobi.
So, oui to we five, oui to Kenya, oui to our many-splendoured world.
